Hi Joe,
I too grew up in the church and sadly I have not attended in a while. I let other people discourage me who were unfriendly or cold and said to myself “are these people Christians?” But I will tell you that I miss singing the songs and I have known a lot of really good people in my life who really were Christians. I miss going to church and I love the Lord. I believe that there is a God and savior. I can see it in prophesies that have come about and can see it in these troubled times. God does answer prayers, but maybe not always in the way we want them to be answered. I can also see it in a beautiful flower and a singing bird. I know that when my heart is full of love and that I love the Lord that I feel so good inside. I have been praying a lot for rain, but it hasn’t come yet; but I know that when the Lord wants to send it our way he will.
God bless you and keep you and if you ever decide to come back to the church you will be a great asset; your voice is soothing like the preachers that I used to listen to. I for one would not hold anything against you and would welcome you back with love and understanding.
In Christian Love, J. Taylor
